In the period 1950 to 1970, the Greenlandica collector Birte Christensen collected Greenlandic art and handicrafts and it is this
this collection that we are proud to auction. Birte Christensen was married to N.O. Christensen, former Governor of Greenland,
and she lived in Greenland from 1947 to 1972, first in Qeqertarsuaq and then in Nuuk. Her great love for it Greenlandic is reflected
in the special selection, where some of the figures are made by the renowned artist family Kristoffersen from Nuuk. The auctions expire on 15 August from 16.55 to 9.30 p.m.
